As some of you know, this book nearly broke me… At times, I couldn’t face the work without imagining the HUGE party I would host when the book was done.
Guess what? The book is done.
Which means it’s time for that party!
WHERE: Vault Creation Lab—2076 Danforth Avenue, on the corner of Woodbine & Danforth, just steps from the subway station.
WHEN: Thursday, November 13—Doors at 7pm; performances at 7:30pm.
Performances?, you ask.
Performances, I reply.
Let me explain …
Three fantastic actors will serve as my “Laboratory Assistants” for the night. They’ll be spread throughout the space, enacting various tasks used in mental health research. Visit them to see just how insane these tasks are!

If you need to groove …

The (fabulous) DJ Sulk Hogan will be on hand, spinning songs about madness…
I can’t wait to dance with friends at the launch— especially since dancing became an important part of writing this book.
The Vault will supply a cash bar …
But take note! The first 50 people to buy a book will get a free drink!
And if you get peckish …

Teresa Patterson—a talented chef who brightened my Saturday mornings at the Brickworks Farmers’ Market—will be serving delicious snacks.

Thanks to the folks at the Vault Creation Lab, especially Anthony Goncharov who was good-humoured as my plans kept morphing.
I hope to see you there!
