I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve won the 2017 K.M. Hunter Award for Literature! This is an incredible honour—one which I’m thoroughly savouring…. The K.M. Hunter Foundation states: “Imagination, originality and the determination to achieve are taken into consideration. The concern is not so much to pick future stars as to reward and encourage people who we believe will go on to do interesting work.”

September 24, 1pm: Harbourfront Centre, Toronto. Great Books Marquee. The Word on the Street Festival celebrates Canadian reading and writing, and champions literacy primarily through a free, annual outdoor festival.
